Tip of the Month for July

” I know I don’t floss as much as I should”

Boy, if I had a quarter every time someone ‘confessed’ this to me, it would have payed for the African mission trip I so desperately want to go on.

Why is it so difficult to take, at the most, 3 minutes out of one’s day to do something that we all know is a huge benefit to one’s oral and (now scientifically proven) general health?

Take a few minutes to consider how long it takes you to do some of the following:

  • Put your make-up on

  • Straighten or ‘do’ your hair

  • Have a cigarette

  • Stand in line or sit in the drive through at Tim’s

  • Watch (how many?) commercials during your favourite TV program

  • Read yet another joke-type email

  • The time it took you to consider the above question

As you ponder this question, please feel free to drop me a line as to what you believe the answer to be..and I’ll anonymously post your answer next month.

  8. 11-1 Lieutenant Governor in each province and the Governor General is the National Representative.
